CURRENT WINE SELECTION

FROM GRAPE TO BOTTLE

All of our wines are made right on property from grape to bottle. While we are unable to grow all the fruit on site, we source over 65% of our grapes from the High Country and surrounding areas with the remainder of our grapes coming from out west. Our winemaking facility is located at the corner of our auxiliary parking lot and houses all the machinery like our crusher/destemmer and press that we use to harvest and process the grapes. Inside we have our tank room for white wine and barrel room for reds. We are currently offering private tastings and tours of our winery one Friday a month.

Our tasting flights include four, 2oz pours that are preselected with tasting notes and palate cleansers. You cannot mix and match flights. This is a perfect option to try a curated category and taste at your own pace!

DRY RED WINES

    Similar to a typical Pinot Noir, you can find notes of raspberry, vanilla and baking spices with low tannins and medium acidity.

    One of our most popular red blends is back and better than ever! A blend of Merlot, Zinfandel, Petit Sirah, and Cabernet Franc holds notes of plum, chocolate, violet, and pepper on the palate.

    New world inspired, this Merlot is medium to heavier bodied with strong tannic notes of plum, bell pepper, and chocolate producing a velvety flavor.

    This full body, red blend is 100% North Carolina grapes; Tannat, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, & Merlot. This blend is a Double Gold Medal Winner at the Carolina Classic Fair and a Gold Medal Winner at the NC Wine Competition. With higher tannins and high intensity, you’ll find notes of raspberry, black cherry, and cedar. The red Bridge Blend is sure to become a crowd favorite!

    This blend is made from a variety of hybrid grape varietals; Vidal Blanc, Chardonel, & Lacrosse. This blend is a Silver Medal Winner from the Carolina Classic Fair.     This dry effervescent white wine is a blend of Chardonel and Vidal Blanc. It’s medium body gives way to notes of apple, honeysuckle and jasmine that dance on the palate. This brut is popular not only amongst customers but staff as well!

    A crisp sparkling white with notes of lemon, honeysuckle, and white flower - most similar to a dry Prosecco.

    The light to medium dry, blush colored wine is blended with Chambourcin and Traminette. It’s bursting with red fruit flavors like cherry, strawberry, and watermelon.

    This dry cider is made in collaboration with Appalachian State’s Fermentation Science Program. Lighter in body with hints of effervescence, you’ll find notes of pear and green apple on the palate.

    As a double gold medal winner from the NC Fine Wine Competition, this dessert wine is 100% Vidal Blanc. Although lighter in body, it’s sweetness provides flavors of peach, honey and lemon peel. Great for pairing with pecan pie and seared scallops with brown butter sauce.

    Similar to a port style, our dessert wine is made Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. We age this wine in American Whiskey barrels, adding a new depth of flavor as well as a unique southern charm to each batch. With notes of ripe fruit, tobacco, and spice, we hope you enjoy this as much as we enjoyed making it!
